Description
Pixel drawing of a Yataghan, used a public domain image from wikimedia commons to reference the proportions, otherwise this is all mine. Fourth in a series of items that I might eventually use in a game or give to someone else to use in a game, don't know yet.
I actually had a hard time with this one, there are so many variations on the type, the handle in particular, that I was forced to come up with my own by combining elements from various examples I found through google. The reason why I had to come up with my own isn't because I wanted to faithfully represent a multitude of derivations, but because not every derivation can be translated to an aliased pixel style and/or still remain a sword, a dervish yataghan for example is basically a knife, and a yataghan knife is basically a kukri.
Free for non commercial use, please attribute to either Adam Roger Kearley or HeresJolly. If you would like to use this in a commercial project or would like to request customs, please contact me through reddit: www.reddit.com/user/heresjolly…
Also check out my YouTube channel, no pressure to subscribe, just watch a few videos and maybe rate and comment, if you don't like what you see then give it a thumbs down, tell me to kill myself, and move along. I'm serious, I want honest feedback and only active subscribers: youtube.com/watchmesaystuff
